A straight is basically made up of five cards in order, such as 98765. In online poker, you can either play the ace high or low although “around the corner” straights are not usually permitted.
A Three of a kind in online poker is made up of three cards with the same rank and two kickers of different ranks. The triple cards primarily determine the rank after which the kickers are considered.
A two pair is two cards of the same rank combined with two cards of another rank, a kicker of another rank. Online poker ranking is determined by the higher pair, followed the lower pair and finally the kicker.
